Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

This policy explains how SafeBuy Georgia ("SafeBuy", "we") handles personal data on safebuy.ge. For questions or requests about your data, write to info@safebuy.ge.

What we collect

Cookies and consent

Analytics and advertising signals default to denied until you accept them. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage key sb_consent) so we do not ask on every visit. To change your mind, use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page: it clears that choice and asks again, and until you answer everything is back to denied. The campaign tags described below are kept under the keys sb_attr and sb_attr_first.

If you came from an ad

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta. If you left your name and phone number in response to one of those ads, either on this site or in the form inside the ad itself, we use those details for one purpose: to ring you about the free consultation you asked for, and to follow up on that conversation if you want us to.

We do not sell those details. We do not pass them to other advertisers, data brokers, or partner agencies. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a call. Our newsletter is a separate, unticked box that also asks you to confirm by email, so you are on it only if you chose to be, twice.

If you filled in a form inside Facebook or Instagram rather than on this site, Meta holds a copy of what you submitted under its own privacy policy, and we cannot delete that copy for you. Ask Meta about the data it holds, and ask us about ours.

safebuy.ge runs the Meta pixel, which tells Meta that a visit or an enquiry came from one of our ads so we can see whether the money we spend is finding anyone. It loads only after you accept advertising cookies in the consent banner, and those start out denied. Decline them and the pixel is never added to the page, so nothing about your visit reaches Meta. You can decline and still ask for a call.

Separately, and whether or not you accept cookies, we note the campaign tags on the link you arrived through, so that a number you leave can be matched to the ad that brought you. That is kept in your browser for the length of the visit and sent to us only if you submit a form. It stays on your device for 90 days instead of just the visit only if you accepted the consent banner.

You can tell us to stop calling at any time, and we will. Email info@safebuy.ge or say so on the call.

Where data is stored

Our systems run on Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure in the European Union (europe-west1). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Who we share data with

A consultation request goes to David Lee and the SafeBuy team, and nowhere else. If you asked to be called back about a specific listing, the details also reach the agent responsible for that listing, because they are the person who can answer you. Analytics data is processed by Google on our behalf. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone who wants to advertise to you.

How long we keep it

Contact details from a callback or consultation request are kept for up to 24 months after we last spoke to you, then deleted or anonymized. Property buying is slow, and someone who asked in March is often still looking in November, which is why the window is that long rather than a few weeks. Ask us to delete them sooner and we will. Analytics data follows Google Analytics retention settings.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to its processing, by emailing info@safebuy.ge. We respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable Georgian and EU data protection rules.

The mobile app

The SafeBuy mobile app has additional features (accounts, saved searches, notifications) with their own data handling, described in the privacy notice shown in the app and on its store listings.
